Register Your Products — BASIC 3PL Help Center
Step 02 — Onboarding · Product Setup

Register Your Products

Products must be registered and approved in Basic GO before they can be fulfilled. Registration connects your storefront products to the Basic 3PL warehouse system — ensuring accurate barcoding, dimensions, compliance, and shipping materials are on file.

Products cannot be fulfilled until the Basic 3PL product registration has been approved. Do not ship inventory before receiving approval confirmation.
1
Connect Your Storefront

Start by connecting your Shopify or other supported storefront to Basic GO. This allows your products to sync automatically into the Product Registration page.

See Set Up Your Account for instructions on connecting your storefront. Initial product sync can take up to 45 minutes.
2
Sync Product Information into Basic GO

Once your storefront is connected, Basic GO will pull in your product's basic information — name, variant, SKU, and images. Navigate to the Product Registration page to see your synced products.

You do not need to wait for inbound shipping details before beginning registration. Registration can be completed while planning your inbound shipment.

3
Complete All Missing Product Information

For each product, you must complete all required fields before submitting for review. Missing or incomplete information will result in a rejected registration.

Shipping Materials

Select the appropriate shipping material for each product during registration. This determines how Basic 3PL packages the item for outbound shipment.

Packaging typeDescriptionDirect delivery?
Logistics bagOpaque outer packaging — durable and self-containedYes
Sale bag (retail bag)Fully sealed retail packaging — needs additional mailer bagNo
No bagUnsealed or minimal packaging — needs additional mailer bagNo
A fee applies for adding mailer bags. If your item arrives without any bag or label, we charge to add both. Minimum box size: 15 × 10 cm. Consult your rate card for specifics.
Custom packaging: Register custom packaging (branded boxes, inserts, thank-you notes) during product registration so the warehouse uses your materials instead of standard packaging. Pre-print SKU barcodes before sending to avoid a labeling fee. Maximum 5 inserts per brand.
5
Submit for B3PL Review

Once all fields are complete, submit the product registration to Basic 3PL for review. The team will verify all information and confirm operational requirements.

Product record review turnaround is 48 hours from submission. Plan your inbound shipment timeline accordingly.
6
Approval and Rejection

After review, each product registration will be either approved or rejected.

Approved
Product is ready for fulfillment
You will receive confirmation that the product has been approved. You may proceed with your inbound shipment and the product will be available for fulfillment once received and put away.
Rejected
Corrections required
You will receive details on what needs to be corrected. Update the registration with the required information and resubmit for review. Products cannot be fulfilled until approved.
7
Returns Discard Criteria

During registration, define what should happen to each product when it is returned to the warehouse.

1
List your return criteria for each SKU on the provided sheet.
2
Indicate which product conditions trigger each action: restock, hold, return to sender, or disposal.
3
Send the completed sheet to your Onboarding Manager. Your Customer Success Manager will continue in a supporting role.
